Breakdowns, Mechanical Failures or Road Accidents
In the event of a mechanical breakdown or road accident, the customer must contact Love Scooter, providing their exact location and describing the nature of the failure in as much detail as possible.
If a repair is necessary and possible, the customer must obtain prior authorization from Love Scooter before proceeding. The customer must never repair the vehicle without the express consent of Love Scooter.
If the repair is not possible, Love Scooter will attempt to replace the damaged vehicle as quickly as possible. If replacement is not possible, Love Scooter will refund the customer for the remaining rental days already charged and paid. In that case, the customer will be reimbursed for the full amount of unused days. Love Scooter will charge for any damages incurred if they are the customer’s responsibility.
Refunds or vehicle replacements are excluded when breakdowns result from road accidents or mechanical damage caused by falls, fuel errors, or misuse of the vehicle.
The fuel for all scooters, except for electric ones, is gasoline. The addition of diesel causes serious damage to the scooters’ engines.
The repair costs for such damage are entirely borne by the customer, amounting to €120 for the Honda Vision 110cc and €170 for the Honda PCX 125cc, plus VAT at the current legal rate (23%).
Our scooters use E5 or E10 gasoline as fuel.
